Been here almost one year, love the neighborhood, our neighbors and the walkable parks and business areas. Looking forward to raising a family here for years to come.
I really like where I live. I can walk to the post office, library, little restaurants and cafes, the park, or go to a nearby event. Mostly everyone is nice and it's a fun place to be.It has a bit of a small town feel to me but if you drive ten minutes out you'll be closer to Decatur, which is very family oriented, or Atlanta, which is where a lot of things are going on. It's a nice middle ground place and there are wonderful people in the neighborhood who are usually willing to help you with something.
I feel safe walking around with my little sister. However, it's usually during the daytime. Most people are friendly and don't try to get in your way. It's a nice area and you can always see people walking, running, jogging, and/or biking. I like the area. Also, when the school year starts it's more safe because of police officers.
