East End Reviews

I think this is intended to represent what we call East Nashville. I have lived in Eastwood Neighbors in East Nashville for 11 years. It is very diverse, but has significantly gentrified over the past two decades. I would describe the majority of my neighbors as progressive and liberal. I love this neighborhood and only found happiness with Nashville overall after moving here. The older bungalow and Victorian homes are beautiful. Violence, shootings, and crime are still present, but should not affect you if you use common sense. The only downfall for me is how "hip" the neighborhood has become and a lot of wealthy people moving in from California and New York don't necessarily reflect the type of people who made the area cool to begin with. It's starting to resemble a Whole Foods in Boulder, CO a little to much for my taste, but to each his/her own. Overall, a great living experience and great home investment.
