Indianapolis is a great place to be. Downtown Indianapolis has a beautiful canal and you can walk a long the canal, or right a boat through the canal, or listen to music and eat. They have the Lucas Oil Stadium you can tour and eat there, that is where the Indianapolis Colts play. Indianapolis also has a lot of breweries and local pubs that have been in business for years and years that you can visit. The circle of Indianapolis is lit up and you can walk around it right in the heart of down town or drive around it and see it all lit up with different lights and listen to music and eat and enjoy different beverages. It also is the home of the Indy Five hundred. Racing season is great to come visit Indianapolis, where you see the big parade and all the festivities involved with the Indy 500.
I have lived in Indianapolis, Indiana for the majority of my life and this place is really not that bad as it seems because there are tons of places to explore that maybe you didn't know existed but overall this place is a really nice place to go for a walk with friends and simply explore different areas.
Indianapolis is a great city with so many things to offer. They have the most monuments of any city in the nation outside of Washington DC and they have a plethora of excellent restaurants.
