There are more citizens moving into South Philadelphia everyday. Around the area that I live in, there is an increasing number of Mexican citizens, which decreases the value of the property, but it is also good for the community because of a closer knit neighborhood. I personally like having a community that has more people than being separated and distanced in the suburbs because it adds a sense of family to the neighborhood, but along with that causes more problems because there are more people, which might increase crime rate.
This area has changed a lot. I remember when I was younger, I couldn't go play outside because our area was dangerous. I even remember being outside and their being a shooting a few blocks down. Today, the area is ten times better than it was.
The area is a wonderful area to live. There somethings that I will change for some is the violence. Its not as bad as it seem, but it still is harm to the neighborhood and the people living in it. Another thing I would change is how small the blocks are. lol they are really little.
