Crossroads Reviews

Living in Crossroads has been a very positive experience. With many trails, parks, and walkways, it is definitely a pedestrian-friendly neighborhood. I also feel very safe walking around as there is usually lots of other people on the streets. It is also one of the more diverse neighborhoods in the area, especially around the Crossroads Mall. There is no shortage of amazing multi-cultural cafes and restaurants that are always busy at night. Public transportation is also really good in the area with the B-Line bus service. You can go from Crossroads Mall to downtown Bellevue in under 20 mins. The only "negative" which I've seen recently has been the rush-hour traffic which is a result of so many people moving to the area and it makes commute times way longer than they used to be even ten years ago. Expensive housing prices aside, overall, it would be a great place to raise a family.
Local parks for outdoor activity and plenty of businesses and services close by to homes and apartment buildings. Low income friendly housing area. Good schools close by. The only thing I would change is to encourage more people to view this area as safe and family friendly. Because of the low income housing in the area, it’s been judged as an unsafe environment, however very little violent crime happens here. There are also not very many bars or clubs in the area so nightlife is pretty low energy.
I love my neighborhood and it's family oriented settings. I love the diversity and most of all I love how your neighbors take care of each other on a daily basis, no matter race or gender.
