Love Clintonville, so lucky to live here! You can walk anywhere and anytime safely. It’s so charming, all the houses are different with a lot of character. While not cheap at all, actually it’s getting very expensive to live here you get a lot for your money. The best neighbors by far and I have live in the east coast and west coast. You get parks, restaurants, Coffee shops, all kind of shops.. to be honest you don’t need to leave Clintonville at all… you even get the best medicinal care in the state with all the hospitals around. You can bike or walk walk to OSU or downtown. Love it!
The homes are very well kept and charming. Reminds you of a different and simpler time. I've lived here for 50 plus years and have seen a huge change in the neighborhood. Liberals now dominate and if you dare comment on their FB page about a conservative cause, you will be insulted and told to move. They claim to want diversity but not in thought or ideas. People are nice to your face but that's about it. The homeless are becoming an issue as well as crime. They have recently changed zoning to welcome mixed and/or affordable housing along the corridors. Clintonville looks nice on the surface, but only if you think a certain way is it nice underneath.
Growing up in Clintonville, Columbus, Ohio has been wonderful! All the neighbors are like a tight-knit family and the surrounding area has restaurants with amazing food and shops with very unique and beautiful trinkets. Plus, OSU's campus and Downtown Columbus are just 10 to 15 minutes from Clintonville, giving even more access to theaters, shops, cinemas, restaurants, etc.
