Clear Lake Reviews
Clear Lake is great! It's a diverse place, especially because Houston is super diverse (supposedly). We have a range of ages, races, ethnicities, etc. that live here, which I obviously love and that I grew up around. We have a bunch of things to do, especially for kids. We're a tight knit community that is very friendly. We all care about our community and want it to be the nicest (more environmentally responsible, visually appealing), most educated, and supportive place it can be. We also have many clubs and meets for those with similar interests or issues, such as drug problems, knitting, writing, and more! We also have AMAZING places for food and desserts, and have a ton of local businesses that you can't beat!
I’ve been living here for the past 5 months and it has been a very friendly, and quiet neighborhood so far! Minus the overhead airplanes and such, it’s a very scenic and green environment with plenty of parks and other natural features. There are the parks, pools, nature trails, nearby malls, marketplaces, stores and of course, the very plentiful hospitals here in Houston and the amount of childcare and job opportunities. It’s wonderful to live here overall.
Clear Lake is a friendly neighborhood. You can take your children and animals for walks. The sidewalks are in good condition and certain areas are shaded well. The stores are a good distance to walk or drive. Job opportunities are provided in this area. Clear Lake has nature trails and green belts that provide a great way to spend time outside. The Neighborhood app provides a great way to interact and get to know your neighbors. The people who live in this area are friendly. Certain areas in Clear Lake are concerning in a safety aspect. The apartments have had murders and shootings. That specific area is the only concern. Otherwise, the housing and environment of clear lake is ideal. Each house is unique in it's own way. I like how the houses aren't "cookie cutter" houses. The area is clean and has trash cans spread throughout. The schools are good and there's an abundance of churches to choose from. Affordability and diversity is common here. An ideal area to raise children.
