I just moved to Glendale in September of 2015 from living in Hollywood for 2 years. To me, Glendale has such a great sense of community, it's quiet and not jam packed with traffic, and really safe. I live within walking-distance to many grocery stores and often walk to them at night when I get out of work. I feel completely safe where I live and feel that my neighbors look out for me and the other tenants of our building as well. Overall, I have loved living in Glendale since the moment I moved into my apartment.

The area I live in is very safe and there is not much about it that needs improvement or that can even be improved. I have never really felt unsafe around my neighborhood and we are friendly with our neighbors. I think the most important thing about where someone lives is how secure they feel in their neighborhood, and I feel extremely safe in mine.
there is no longer a sense of community - there is too much building and it is destroying the framework

of Glendale - before we could drive down Brand Blvd and see the mountains - this is no longer possible

we could also look out at Griffith Park from certain buildings - this view is being blocked as well with

excessively tall buildings . There does not seem to be a cohesive building plan which City Hall is willing to publicize

Previously our town was not as interesting and cute as Old Town Pasadena or South Pasadena but

we had beautiful neighborhoods and vistas . I felt relaxed looking out of my office building over at Griffith

Park or driving up Brand Blvd to see the Mountains. Now the view is all concrete buildings and maybe a

teeny bit of greenery.
