Although traffic may be a little rough during rush hour, this area is amazing! As a student I was able to network and volunteer with the EU and NIAF, as well as other non-profits, like PAVE. When my school had to perform at the Kennedy Center, I was just a metro ride away. Simply wonderful to live in an area so convenient, safe, and clean.
Quite yet connected to busy routes for ease of access to DC and downtown Arlington. Same time a great school system and lovely community for raising kids.
The worst is parking. Some people will park in front of your house, driveway, etc. When you call the police they want proof, such as pictures, written license plates, or the physical car. Will roam around the neighborhood to make sure cars don't disrespect street parking, but will slowly fade away after a few days.
