Central Southwest Reviews
I like how in this neighborhood in Houston, there's always something to do whenever you finish school or work and I feel safe in this neighborhood knowing that there's very little to no crimes around this vicinity. Overall, this neighborhood deserves the 5 star rating and I recommend anyone to live here due to large amount of diversity and job opportunities in Houston.
I love the scenery of the area that I live in, however there are increasing crime rates. There are beautiful trees, a bayou for biking and jogging, grocery stores in walking distance as well as a number of schools with great teachers and students with average to excellent academic skills. Also, the housing is affordable which has kept me residing in the area and is a plus for individuals living on a tight budget. The area is heavily culturally competent with families from different social backgrounds.
If you are into the arts, a lot of food, and awesome events, Houston is just right for you. There are a variety of different museums to visit, for children, arts, history, etc. You can also go downtown to Discovery Green and admire some sculptures while you have a picnic. Speaking of which, you can go to a different restaurant a day and never be bored or have the same thing twice (this is not for you if you're looking to lose weight). Actually, if you are wanting to go out and have some fun, the events in Houston are ENDLESS. With the NRG Stadium constantly open and the parks live with games, music, sports, etc., there's an event going on almost all day, everyday.
