Living in Atlantic, Long Beach, California has been pretty okay so far. It's close to the beach and to local shops. It's always a good thing when a resident is taken in/interested in the social activities around the home and where I live, this is quite easy to do. They offer a lot from mom and pop shops to dine in restaurants. Also, quick access to various thrift stores and vintage/antique shops which is a personal interest of mine.

crime rate is still the same. Trunks would stop to dump garbages and broken furnitures in alleys. Local stores start to close down. However, I think the city is improving. New schools are opening up. More streets have bike lanes. Some sidewalks now have trees instead of all cement. I think I would choose to live in this town again. It really has a great potential as a port city.
There has recently been more frequent crimes.
