I love Campbell California! The neighborhoods are safe, the people here truly care about each other, and there are many schools walking-distance. The down town area is super cute and lively. There are live music performances and the best farmers markets! I love walking down it and looking into all of the little shops. There are also TONS of restaurants to choose from. Anywhere from traditional mexican, to greek, and japanese too. It is all there. I love visiting the Recycled Bookstore every time I go because you never know what good reads you can find in there. Campbell is such a great place to live and I feel so lucky to be able to grow up in such an amazing place.
As a current resident of Campbell, CA, I find Campbell an amazing place to live no matter how old you are. Public schools are safe, multiple community colleges to choose from or University of Santa Cruz is right over the hill, job opportunities are always blooming in this area in all industries, and no matter where you are commuting from, Campbell is in the middle of the South Bay with the lightest traffic! Things to do -Farmers Market takes place Downtown every single Sunday, rain or shine, and the downtown area offers a lot of organic local shops, restaurants, boutiques, and cafes. It's very family friendly area, and in the evening, downtown is always lively no matter what day of the week it is ~ perfect for those happy hours and evenings with friends. Also, if you are looking for somewhere to dine besides downtown area, Campbell also has an amazing Pruneyard Center with great restaurants, shops, and renovated movie theatre!
Campbell, California is quiet enough to be peaceful, but loud enough to feel alive. A mixture of young families, homeowners, renters, and any color collar of worker makes Campbell one of the least homogeneous places to live. There are domiciles of all sizes, people of all kinds, and safe streets.
One of the many endearing characteristics is its unpretentious mood and feel: it's not so clean that everyone points the finger of judgement, and not so dirty that everyone stops caring.
