Calumet Heights Reviews
I enjoy a quiet family-friendly neighborhood and that is exactly what I get to experience here. I have moved around between Evergreen Park and Englewood in Illinois and I think it is a decent in-between option, meaning, it has the family-friendly theme of Evergreen, but the urban Chicago touch that Englewood instills on Illinois.
I currently reside in the calumet heights area. I love the schools and the neighbors are very friendly. It is a place that I would love to continue to raise my children. The area is very safe and my 3 little pups love it here as well!
I would choose to live in the same area again, if I ever left. It is hard for one to accustom themselves to a new environment and grow the same hard earned memories that had already been built with the old neighborhood. Once someone establishes emotions and memories to a place they once labeled as "home," it is hard to leave behind the noises on the street, the neighbors who one used to speak to, and the convenience stores around the corner of the block.
