This neighborhood feels very safe and is in a location where it's not too crowded but it's not boring either. There are lots of small businesses that I love that are within walking distance. However, it's very expensive to live here and the schools are becoming overcrowded and underfunded.

I live in a house that is walking-distance from an elementary school and a middle school, both of which are one of the best in the district. I am friends with all of my neighbors, and we all get together often. Everything is clean, and there is a lovely park nearby. Bixby Knolls creates a small-town charm to the neighborhood that brings everyone closer. I would always choose to live here again if I could do it all over. It is a lovely location in Southern California that keeps a small community vibe while being close to Los Angeles for a true city experience.
This area has a general sense of safety. You can walk around the neighborhood without worries. There are home robberies every now and then but not too frequently. Some allies have surveillance systems now, which helps to those living on those streets.
