Good place tp live. An affluent residential neighborhood within the New York City borough of Brooklyn. Originally referred to as Brooklyn Village, it has been a prominent area of Brooklyn since 1834. The neighborhood is noted for its low-rise architecture and its many brownstone rowhouses, most of them built prior to the Civil War.

I've been to Brooklyn Heights about 3 times in my life and I can't stress enough how beautiful it is! There's so many great landmarks, brownstones and of course the beautiful Brooklyn Promenade. Everyone has to go at least twice in their life! I promise you won't regret it. It's peaceful, it's beautiful and the view is amazing!
I’ve live here for 38 years. The charm of Greenwich Village without most of the crowds. The first historic landmark neighborhood in NYC. It’s almost a given that if you live here you live with in a landmark.

Neighborhood stores may be expensive but most have character, though the chains maintain contact with the wider market. Many excellent restaurants, and of course, The View.
