It is a very quiet, family-oriented area. Public transportation is easily accessible. There are several schools, grocery stores, convenience stores and restaurants in the area. The community center offers a lot of events and activities for children and adults. It seems like almost everyone has a dog! Although the cost of living in this area is increasing I would definitely live here again and recommend it because of all it has to offer and the progress I've seen over the years.
I like that Niche give updates on scholarships for schools. It really provides a wide range of scholarship programs for students who are economically disadvantage. One suggestion that I would recommended by Niche is not to give scholarship that are essay base because it is time consuming.
Honestly speaking this area is not bad, but if my mother was better financially or if U get the chance to go to an university and get a better life is wouldn't exactly choose to live here again. I will go to a much better area meaning out of the bronx. But that's not possible for me rigth now.
