Brighton Reviews
Rating 3.67 out of 5 18 reviews
Community is awesome and diverse. Very walkable neighborhood, between the Light Rail and Seward Park. One station away from Columbia City to the north and one station from Rainier.
There are often vacant lots or over crowing in one house but people seem healthy and i understand why they would overcrowd a house, because rent it sometimes way to much and home owning is out of the question. A lot of people in m neighborhood are from other countries and so there is a lot of hate directed at them in the world but i think our community is pretty supporting of immigration and everything that goes with it. I know people in my house are fin with it and even help out when they can with paperwork or understanding customs from their home land and teaching them customs from the US.
People stay living in my community for a while. I personally have been living there just a little over 9 years I think and a lot of our neighbors are the same as before we moved in. People usually are paying off a mortgage on their house but thee are renters too but they change out every few years or so. We don't have community events because we don't talk to each other much. I know maybe 2 families on my block of 10 or so. I wish we had block parties and barbecues with each other, i think it would be lots of fun.
