I find this place very diverse with all types of ethnic groups. The diversity makes this place beautiful because it is not like other neighborhoods dominated by one group. You will meet lots of interesting people coming from different backgrounds. People can live peacefully with one another despite their differences.

There are plenty of stores in this neighborhood. They also have very good places to eat here if you are into: Pizza, Sushi, Sandwiches, Pastries, Chinese food, Thai food, Russian Food, and Spanish food.

It is very easy to travel anywhere in the city when you commute using the bus or train. The subway station also has an elevator which makes it easier for the elderly to travel. The police station is also nearby keeping the city safe.

Overall, it's a good place to live in with the convenience of everything you need is just a few steps away.

I love that Briarwood is family-centric community. Additionally, Briarwood seems to be a microcosm of what Queens (our borough) is - which is a diverse and eclectic population that prides itself of that.

Although Briarwood has its benefits, I believe that its disadvantages seem to be a a lack of new small businesses with more innovative ideas - more than just the corner bodega or another mobile phone store. I'd like to see a more pronounced presence by our local Councilman as well as more opportunities and support for our communities of color.
Excellent neighborhood with nice houses and shopping. Barely any crime, streets are clean, and people are friendly.
