The only complaint I would have is housing issues. New condos, restaurants, and houses being built in old neighborhoods drives up rent and will make it harder for me to find a place when I move out.
There are great schools and magnet programs in the area as well as many local businesses!
I haven't seen anything unusual in my neighborhood in the last year; it's very easy living.
