The area is very progressive and changing rapidly. I wound not live any where else in the country! The only problem is that renting prices are going up each month.
I like the Boise neighborhood because it is quiet for the most part at night. I would love it if people would respect the leash law.
North Portland does have a bit of gang violence but in general I find the area very safe. I have never experienced talking to a cop in my neighborhood. I feel safe all times of the day and night.
