I love living in Beverly Woods. It is convenient to everything with friendly people across all age groups, from young professionals, families with kids, and retirees. Homeowners take pride in their homes and make this neighborhood shine like a gem. Many residents here are walkers and can be found walking the neighborhood daily (many with their dogs). The commute from here to anywhere in the Charlotte area is less than 30 minutes and very manageable. It's a great "quality of life" place to live.
Current Resident: Small Town Feel, Quiet, Great Trees, and excellent place to take a stroll. I have found this to be one of charlottes best kept secrets. Property values are rising in the area and now would be a great time to move in. I am seeing lots of flips taking place... especially with the split levels in the neighborhood. This Neighborhood would be an excellent choice for a young professional for family!
Beverly Woods is Charlotte's best kept secret! I would buy my house here over again in a minute! It is a picturesque neighborhood in SouthPark (the high end shopping Mecca of the region) and yet Beverly Woods is a calm and peaceful retreat from all of the business of the city. The drive to Uptown is less than 20 minutes on an average commute, and it is 15 minutes to Ballantyne as well. All the high end grocery stores are less than a five minute drive (many are 24 hours).
Beverly Woods is set apart by its charming 1960's finely crafted colonial ranches and trilevel homes.
My favorite features of Beverly Woods would have to be the abundant, full grown hardwood oak, magnolia, and maple trees paired with large lots and sidewalks.
This neighborhood has lots of wildlife for an inner city area -- we have a family of deer that are safe and are not bothered by anyone, we have foxes and rabbits, and dozens of species of birds.
