I have lived here for over a decade now. I have enjoyed living here compared to where I used to live. The neighborhood is quite and peaceful. The neighbors, that surround my home, look out for one another's property and items. There is hardly any noise. If there is any noise it's only from school children at the local elementary school or the occasional howling dog. If you're looking for a peaceful neighborhood, with minimal noise, lots of trees to shade you while you take a walk up and down the neighborhood, and a neighborhood that has a community night, then this is the neighborhood for you.
We have wonderful neighbors, we always feel safe and everyone is friendly. There is easy access to downtown and younger scenes but are relatively close to family as well. We absolutely adore Berwick and hope to not move for a very long time.
Columbus is a big city. There aren't many wildlife or nature reserves in the city. Around the city however, there are a lot. There are many amazing, huge, and beautiful parks you can access, each with their own recreation center, and usually a pool or a library in the area as well. There are state/metro parks around the city area where many go hiking, camping, and sledding in the winter! Pollution is non-existent even in an urban area. There is some litter issues near big streets and interstates. Columbus has a brand new City Center park over the previous location of a downtown mall. The park is called the Columbus Commons and has a merry-go-round, a huge gazebo stage, restaurants, apartments surrounding it, and many sponsored events on the green spaces for picnics with the columbus symphony and much more family fun!
