For the most part, the drivers are safe. Most people go the speed limit, yield to pedestrians, etc. But it could also depend on the time of day. During a rush hour, people are a little more aggressive and aggravated, which is normal. There are plenty of places for pedestrians to walk and for bicyclists. The main problem is all of the construction happening that creates heavy traffic everyday and blocks off paths for pedestrians/bicyclists to go. Public transportation is pretty reliable. There are bus stops everywhere and there is a light rail system.
All of the houses are very nice, large, and well maintained. Many are quite beautiful to look at. There aren't any abandoned properties. The cost of living in this area is very expensive. The houses are worth at least 1 million or more. Utilities are expensive.
I love the parks in the area. It is very well maintained and beautiful. The only thing we have close to a river is the man made creek running along speer blvd. It's okay I guess. There aren't really any woody areas close by or mountains (although I can see them and they are pretty) because I live in the city. Driving to the mountains takes about 40 min. to an hour and I love it. There are many bike riders in my area.
