Bayside, NY has a great school district and is flowing with diversity. There is so much to explore around the area. From amazing schools to spending a Saturday night on Bell Blvd playing pool or singing karaoke with some friends! I would completely and fully recommend this neighborhood for couples with small children to young adults who like a safe and vivacious atmosphere.

We love Bayside - the convenience, the restaurants, the buses, the LIRR (although the service leaves much to be desired), very walkable area (no car needed), kids' extracurricular activities. The schools are top-notch. But the housing prices will eventually push us out. Our rent is now $2400 for a 3 bedroom 2 bath. Houses are at least $800k (and those need work!). A move-in-ready single-family home is around $1 million.
Bayside is in the most diverse borough of New York City. With the reputation of its location, it does not fail to live up to the expectations of being a large melting pot, with cultures from the four corners of the Earth. Not only are there a vast majority of individuals from any imaginable country, walking down a street in Bayside can allow you to travel to all these countries without ever leaving the comfort of the neighborhood of Bayside. As you walk down the streets, you can not only smell the ethnic foods but also get a glimpse into the languages of all the individuals, not being able to distinguish one language from another.
