Baker/Zachary is a very private community on the outskirts of Baton Rouge. I have lived in the area for over 15 years and have not had a problem since. The community is kid friendly. Zachary Schools have been number one and I am proud to be an alumni of the Broncos at Zachary High School. I would recommend the community to anyone looking for a safe haven outside of Baton Rouge, LA.
Everyone make you feel at home. Also, Zachary is rising up in variety of businesses that are family-friendly.
Baker has been great to me, the schools could be a little better but I completed and that's all that matters. It's a very small town where everybody knows everybody which is good when it comes to your kids but bad when it come to gossip. I have been here all 23 years of my life and baker has been wonderful to me and my family.
