The Baker Neighborhood in Denver, CO is definitely my favorite neighborhood and the people have a genuineness about them that makes it easy for me to keep coming back!
I enjoy the easy access to night life on Broadway! very clean ad safe parks in the area. lots of local business around. only downside i have is some streets are very small and new to Denver drivers have trouble maneuvering them. Wonderful neighborhood!
A hip neighborhood, close to South Broadway establishments: restaurants, bars, salons, grocery stores, game shops, improv comedy theater, vintage stores, specialty shops. It's not the cleanest part of Denver, but it has a lot of character.
Baker is quaint, beautiful and welcoming. The houses are so unique and well kept up and the community involvement is plentiful. Close to Broadway street, there is always something to do, eat or drink. Loved living here!
Lovely and quirky little neighborhood. The mix of old Victorian homes with renovated homes makes for a charming small neighborhood feel. Incredible access to night life, shops, and the highway make it work well for many lifestyles. There are families and there are young professionals as well as older people who have been here for many years. Great neighborhood with the most character in Denver.
Very unsafe there was a shooting in the PARK in the SUMMER this schould not be aloud and there was THREEEEEEE SCHOOLS IN SCHOOL when this freaking happens
Baker is a historic neighborhood in Denver. The residents cover varying demographics including age, race, and socioeconomics. Baker is close to Broadway with its restaurants, shops, stores, and entertainment. I would say that Baker is becoming gentrified by young white people moving in and displacing a resident Hispanic population, as well as low-income housing units.
Baker Neighborhood is very charming and eclectic. I absolutely love living in Baker and working not too far away. There is rarely any traffic, and the public schools, especially DCIS are excellent! The neighborhood diversity has given me a chance to learn spanish and communicate with my lovely neighbors. I love walking my dog in this neighborhood because I feel safe.
The best part of Baker is the diversity. Home of the funky S. Broadway area, you will come across great punk bars (3 Kings) gay bars (LilDevils) craft brews (historians) and awesome roof top bars with views of the Rockies. Just a 7 minutes drive to all the niche neighborhoods in central Denver, this is a great place to live.
I absolutely love Colorado from its beautiful scenery to its incredible positive atmosphere, i would definitely move back here if i were to ever move away. Its a very liberal state compared to others surrounding states. This area is expanding rapidly but i see a great outcome as businesses, education and construction are going great. This city will soon be booming with more opportunity more than there already is.
