Living in Hartford has had its ups and downs as would living anywhere else in the world. If I could go back and do it all over again I would. the city of Hartford CT may not be the cleanest or the safest but it helps you figure your life out and become an adult through its extensive opportunities for jobs, different types of food, community gatherings/parades, and the ability to learn more about different cultures. If you were to walk down the streets of Hartford you will see a community full of pride and many different small family owned businesses being run by the average person trying to make a living. Most of these businesses reflect their cultural background which gives you the opportunity to learn more about other ethnicities. Hartford is very culturally diverse and a very proud city. The people that I have met while living here in Hartford are some of the most caring and honest people I have ever met who would do anything to help you as long as you do right by them. Once you betray their trust you will never gain that trust back because trust is earned not given. all in all if I were given the opportunity to go back and do everything over again I would in a heartbeat due to the fact that without Hartford I wouldn't be the man I am today.
Where I live we have a mixture of different ethnic groups that are in the same preschool and or classroom. I see more different ethic groups family in parks more, even in neighborhoods that most of the same ethnic would live. (Inner City) where the insurance company are and that is of the Asian ethnic group that seem to just come to the country (US) and the next have a job there.
There is no tourist attractions in this area at all. There is surrounding cities that have tourist attractions that are more popular then in my area
