Again, there is so much diversity! The houses are not all cookie-cutter and look exactly the same. Some buildings are historic, from the 1920's, while some are newer. We are a little jam-packed, but its expected when its right on the beach, right in downtown.

I see police around patrolling all the time, but i have never had a need to call them. Which is good, i havent had any issues, but i also cant judge their response because ive just never dealt with it. I do see them pulling people over and doing their police duty, i dont hear about much crime, just the occasional drunkard causing a scene or a teenager stealing a beer from the convenience store, but no major things.
There is such a diverse group of people living around here that the different types of jobs and professions is hard to imagine. We have top-level business people living next to students with part-time jobs. Since we are right between Los Angeles and Orange County, it is easy for everyone to work in either and not have a terrible commute.
