Myrtle Grove is making a huge come back. There is now more ample lighting all the way down Lillian ,and the neighborhood s have more street lights.
People walk alot in the area. Stores are close. There are several city bus stops in this area as well. The not so great part is the apartment still are low income. The schools in the area are great compared to what you hear by word of mouth.

I feel safe in the neighborhood except at night time. There's little lighting outside of houses (motion sensor, etc.) so if I'm walking around for exercise, anyone could easily grab me without someone noticing. Crimes aren't too often, but there's many who we have to watch because they seem open to causing any trouble.
There is a small sense of community. There is a huge crime rate and slow response rate of the police when they are called to the area. It is not a place to go walking at night by yourself. There is also not much for kids to do. Most kids just roam the neighborhood. There needs to be a park and playground that is safe for kids to enjoy.
