Myrtle Beach is a nice place to live, especially as a college student in my early twenties. Apartments in this town have a good amount of availability near good colleges and are decently affordable. My two bedroom apartment is in a great apartment complex and is only $900/ month! There are many fun amenities within a ten minute driving distance and most are very affordable as well. My two year old has a lot of fun, clean, and kid friendly options as well, including the park, which we can see from our house. I am pleased with the area that I live in, the only reason Myrtle Beach did not receive five stars is because it is nearly impossible to get too far as a pedestrian. There are barely any sidewalks anywhere and public transportation is not to easy to find besides Uber and a few buses that stop every few hours. Overall this is a very nice place to live.

Myrtle Beach is a great place to live. You have the tourism year around which means there is plenty of shopping and things to do. Myrtle Beach is busy during the seasons but you have plenty of surround beaches to retreat to and find refuge. It is a small town vibe when you meet the locals, but you still can go out and blind in with the visitors. You don't have everyone in your business. You have plenty of options when it comes to shopping and places to eat. I have lived here all my life and it has been a great place to live and grow up!
I love Myrtle Beach, SC! There is so much to learn about its unique culture. The public schools are amazing and there are some blue ribbon schools in the area. The nightlife and restaurants could improve a bit. I feel like I am going to the same 5 places and most of the places I go to are safe and family friendly. Since this is somewhat of a college town there is quite a bit of diversity.
