The area is updating all the time and there is always something new to do or visit. It is a decently busy place, but you have close city/ town neighbors like Delmont and Monroeville that have things to do also so you are not stuck in the "Murrysville bubble." Monroeville has so many things to do like a mall, movie theater in the mall, indoor go-karting, multiple shopping centers and so many other this that it can become overwhelming.

Overall Murrysville is a great place to live for families. The schools are pretty decent, the neighborhoods are friendly, and the safety is unmatched. I do wish that it was a little bit more diverse since the high school is 93% white. There are decent places to eat around town and Pittsburgh is a 20 minute drive which makes it ideal for someone who has a family and works in the city.
I love living in Murrysville and being apart of such a great community. There are many family-friendly events that occur, but not as great of night life as you progressively get older. We typically go into Oakland or Shadyside on the weekends.
