Safe area with lots of great schools for kids. Constantly growing so the traffic is becoming a little more heavy, but that would be my only ‘complaint’ with the area.
I love living here. There is a lot to do and some major cities are close by. We have lived here for a while and we plan on staying for quite a long time. Only issues we see is that most places close at 9-10 pm on Friday and Saturday. So the night life is very poor
Murrieta is safe city with so much to do for families. Everything California has to offer is only a short drive away. You can be out riding the dunes in the dessert, snowboarding in the mountains, or tanning at the beach. If none of that sounds good to you. You can always head out to the local wineries and unwind.
Nice small town and very safe. I have lived in this city all my life. Murrieta has great restaurants, lots of parks, and is family-oriented. Several hospitals, professional doctors' offices, and specialists. I loved Springs Medical Hospital as I delivered 3 children there and Temecula Valley OBGYN was my favorite pregnancy office.
Murrieta is a safe town that I have lived in my entire life. I grew up in a large family being the youngest of 6 kids. Murrieta has some of the best schools in the area because they all set up their students for success. Murrieta is one of the safest places I have ever been. There is rarely crime and it is so close to the best places. Murrieta is about an hour (give or take) from some of the best places in the world. It is an hour drive to the best cities like San Diego and Los Angeles. It is an hour drove to other places like the beach, snowy mountains, the desert, and some of the best shopping malls. I love Murrieta and am so grateful to have grown up here.
Great town, community involvement, and schooling systems. Celebrations bring everyone together, and the housing tracks are well-kept.
I love how beautiful this city is. I recently moved here and I am very impressed. There's a mall nearby called "Promenade Temecula" where you can go shop and order food. Not to mention, the mall is also very beautiful.
There's also a nearby place called "Old Town Temecula" which is a great place if you like nightlife. I've went there before, and the food looked delicious. There were also a wide variety of stores to go shop at.
I would say some things that are bad about this city is that it's racist and homophobic. It also tends to have schools that are seldom rated over 4 stars.

It is a very nice area, parks are nice, people just can be judgmental in this area. however overall, the area is great for raising children. Murrieta is very safe and has lots of fun things to do with children.
Murrieta has alot to offer. It is a beautiful town with lots of personality. There are great schools and safety. A big plus is that it is right in between LA and San Diego. Homlessness is low and a lot of people are very kind here. There hasn't ever been a day where I felt "unsafe" in my community.
It’s a beautiful place to live! Great community and schools for your kids. Family friends and a lot of activities to do with your family.
I'm not too fond of anything about this city. I have been living here for over six years and have been waiting for the opportunity to move back to San Diego county
The community has very little activities to do for young people, everything closes early, but it has been a safe and affordable place to live in with so many great people.
Murrieta is a wonderful place if you’re trying to settle down, there’s not much around and the people are cordial. For younger people it’s a bit of a challenge to find something to do; it could use more attractions.
Murrieta is a nice and clean place to raise a family in and the schools are great. They have high ratings and safety is top priority for the schools.
Murrieta is a growing, friendly community. I have lived in this area for 10+ years and I really enjoy the atmosphere. There are many activities and stores around each section of the community. I look forward to the further flourishing of this city.
I love Murrieta!! It is such a safe community! The police department do such a good job of keeping the community safe and engaging with the members of the community. There are small shops throughout and the community puts big emphasis on supporting small businesses.
Murrieta is a little suburb town in the Inland Empire. A really laid-back space that doesn't really have anything too much going on.
