My area I live in is a college town and an retirement community not a great place for a professional job, which the pay is lower than most cities, and tourist town beacon of the beaches. They are building more apartments/condos than homes therefore we are so over crowded as it is I can only imagine what our city will turn into.

Although Wilmington has a lot of unique restaurants, they're mostly located on our famous waterfront and I can't afford them! However, one of my favorites is located in the Cotton Exchange shopping center: The German Cafe. It's homey, authentic German food in a great location for a great price.
It's apparent that I have very mixed feelings about my home town! It's easy to be jaded when you haven't traveled much like me. I am always trying to find new things to love about Wilmington. Sometimes I'm successful in that endeavor!
