Murphysboro is a great place to live, work, worship, and raise a family. We have beautiful scenery, small town charm, excellent wineries, breweries, and restaurants, and both private and public education. Close enough to commute to many different cities, definitely a great choice to call home!

Murphysboro is a pretty small town near Carbondale, Illinois. The people are friendly and we usually don't have too many problems. Murphysboro is usually quiet and generally a pretty good place to live.
Murphysboro is a very awesome place. The most fun of the time of the year is Apple Festival Weekend in September. The schools are very safe and are upgrading their safety each and every year. Murphysboro has multiple fast food places and pizza places around town.
