This city has some of the most generous and kind-hearted citizens. Every store and home is full of heartfelt love and enthusiasm for bettering the community. The roads are always well kept and the law enforcement is fair and just. There is hardly ever any litter on the side of the road and volunteers help to clean up if there is. No other city that I have ever visited offers the same level of comfort and hospitality that Murfreesboro does. However, because of its recent growth in both population and construction, traffic has become a slight annoyance for everyday commuters. Overall an incredible place to live!

Murfreesboro is quaint, small city with a college feel. Many students come from various parts of Tennessee to attend Middle Tennessee State University, thus bringing the college atmosphere to the city. Moreover, some of the people seem friendly and welcoming while others seem distant and cold. There are numerous restaurants throughout the city, such as Cheddar's, Toot's, Buffalo Wild Wings, Arby's, Steak 'n' Shake, Culver's, and Jeff's Family Friendly Restaurant (which has good southern and barbecue cuisine), as well as various attractions, such as Bradley Academy Museum and Cultural Center, Cannonsburg Village, Oaklands Mansion, Discovery Center, and the Wetlands, which is a nature reserve and walking trail. The area is family friendly and young couples, as well as young families, are moving to Murfreesboro, Tennessee. This is a nice place to live, work, and rear a family.
Murfreesboro used to be a better place to live. The town council has made this city into a mecca of apartments and condos. The roads cannot support the growth, the schools are overcrowded. There is no regard anymore for quality of life. It takes longer to travel across the town than driving into Nashville! I used to love this town, but the greed of city leaders and uncontrolled growth has ruined it.
