I have only lived in Mulvane Kansas for a little over two years and love the small town atmosphere. It is a small friendly town and although the only market in town may not carry everything on your shopping list, anything you need is likely within 10 miles once you reach Derby Kansas that has sprouted with new business exponentially.
I really love the Old Settlers that is held every August in Mulvane, the festival is a great time and once again gives you the small hometown love some individuals adore!

I love the small town vibe and knowing everyone but with a small town also comes other issues. There are a lot of things that happen, such as underage drinking, in our high school parking lot on the weekends and nobody does anything about it.
Great small town, with a welcoming friendly community. Close enough to Wichita to enjoy all the "big city" perks, yet far enough away to not be in the middle of it all. Wonderful schools, and programs available for the whole family. Quiet streets, large trees, updated parks and sports complex.
