Great neighborhood for nature lovers! Close proximity to the beach and hiking trails. Fantastic schools, family friendly, easy commute to Whidbey Island and Boeing. Close to shopping and other conveniences, but feels far away from the city.

Mukilteo is a small town with great people. The local businesses and stores always provide satisfaction, and, if you're a resident, you will probably bump into someone you know at the grocery store! Mukilteo mostly has middle to upper-class people, and the town is well-kept and safe.
We have lived in Mukilteo since 2011. The views are gorgeous, the beach is amazing and there are quite a few wonderful restaurants here. We have also come to the realization though that the schools here are horrendous. The administration consistently lies to cover student harassment, injuries and any other incidents that occur day to day. Even with documented proof of lies the district refuses to look into them for fear of tarnishing their "reputation". On top of that, the people here are NOT friendly. Daily you are met with rude attitudes and disturbing behavior.
