AMAZING PLACE TO LIVE! If you type in this city, Mukilteo, WA. on google, you'll get a search result that tells you its the 9th most live-able place to live in the US! This town is so cute! amazing little shops. Low crime rate. Cute little light house right by the water right next to the fantastic diamond knot brewery! This place is fantastic for families. Such a cute little community. I loved living here and would rate this as my favorite place to live in Washington State!

Mukilteo has been my home for the past 18 years. I couldn't imagine living anywhere else. It's a small suburb that is the perfect place to raise a family. The school district is amazing and you're fairly close to everything. There's a beach and a ferry to Whidbey Island that's only a 10 minute drive. Seattle and Bellevue are 30 minute drives (when there's no traffic) so you get to experience city life. The crime is extremely low in Mukilteo as well, with plenty of parks, golf courses, and sites of the Puget Sound to keep anyone happy. It's the perfect place with a bit of everything.
Having grown up in Mukilteo, I know the area better than I know myself. It's a quiet area, a perfect area to raise a family. There are plenty of schools within walking distance and even a library. The fire station and police station are close to everyone so safety is a high priority. Speaking of the beach, there is no sand- only rocks. Right next to the water, visitors can see the ferry travel back and forth between the coast and Whidbey Island. Quaint cafes are close to the water if residents are in need of a quiet afternoon with a view, as well as an Ivar's that are the popular spots for everyone during a sunny afternoon or summer evening. There really isn't much to do in this small city, compared to Seattle or Bellevue. I may be speaking of its dullness because I am a local, but in my opinion there really isn't anything to do there but raise a family. However, it is a place that could never be replaced as home.
