I greatly enjoy this town, I live in a quiet neighborhood close to the center of town. There are many beautiful parks and outdoor activities. We are close to a large lake that is wonderful in the summer time. There are useful resources such as the public library, I spend majority of my free time there. Most everyone is friendly and welcoming. One of the few downsides is that there is not much to do as a teenager in this town and it is difficult to find work if you are under the age of 18.

I have lived around Mountain Home, AR. most of my life. I have worked the majority of my working career in Mountain Home. It is a good community with lots of beauty around it. Lakes, rivers, hiking, hunting and other outdoor activities. Restraunts are average, as well as shopping and other amenities. There is a beautiful college campus here, ASUMH. If you like hustle and bustle with lots of culture and night life scenes, this is not the place for you. Our area has lots to offer though for those that like to slow down and enjoy life.
Very safe town, just not a lot of fun stuff for teenagers/young adults to do. Unless you are 18 or have a degree it's difficult to find a job that pays above minimum wage. Mountain Home is very close to s river and cotter springs so its a great place for the summer months whether you like to swim or if you like to fish.
