It's a fine little town, just wish there was more to do. The people here are usually pretty nice. Only downside is that everyone seems to think alike and people are very stuck in their ways or stuck in the "old" ways of thinking, but besides that Mt. Sterling is an alright town.
I have lived in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky for most of my life. In the heart of Mt. Sterling are beautiful old homes with lots of trees. The town has a lot to offer and can accommodate anyone's needs. Mt. Sterling has a warm and friendly atmosphere. A lot of the businesses in this small town have been here for generations. We have a tremendous amount of job opportunities as we are an industrial city. Many people travel from counties all over the state to work here. We have major companies such as Nestle, Cooper Tire, Wal-Mart Supercenter, Pentair, Lexington Metals, Quality Cabinets, plus many more opportunities for employment. Mt. Sterling is a city of history, and our landmarks are well preserved or have been restored. Mt. Sterling is infamous for it's "court days". Court Days in Mt. Sterling, KY, is a 3-day event in which vendors, from far away as India set up their stands and the whole town is converted into a trading center like no other.
