One of the top family-friendly communities. A great place to raise a family. There are a lot of schools near by with playgrounds to spend time with your child. You feel so safe a secure enough to leave your door unlocked! There is a lot of new developing restaurants and business in the area. Would like more of a night-life scene but that is expected because of the family friendly vibes.

Mount Prospect is a very friendly town. They have events down town like Octoberfest. They also have a historical society. It was founded in the nineteenth century mostly by German farmers. The library has two branches and there is a community connections center. All kinds of opportunities are here in Mount Prospect and I am finding out that it is a most wonderful place to live. The parks are clean and at Clearwater Park they have a wilderness type area. I live in an energy efficient building. Also, there are a lot of restaurants and stores of all kinds. I walk around and it is a very safe, peaceful town. The police are diligent as well as the firemen. It is really quite amazing how many services are offered here.
I like the library, it has a comfortable vibe into it. There’s a metra one could take so it could be possible to work in Chicago. The schools are great. The schools I went mostly have great teachers. There’s stores for everything. It’s safe enough to take a stroll at night. There’s different living conditions for different budgets. There’s great restaurants, I especially like el Pueblo Viejo restaurant since it’s affordable. There’s also a wave pool, but it’s kind of crowded on some days.
