My experience with Mounds View has been phenomenal. I like the fact that this area is very cool, calm, and collected. It is a safe environment for people of all age. Whether your a senior or a child it has a lot of diversity and great aspects for the people who live here. The people here make you feel welcome and always speak when they see you. However, what I would like to see change is the entertainment around here. There isn't a lot to do out here so something they can work on is providing more attractions for the community.

Mounds View is a wonderful suburb of Minneapolis! It is close to the cities (about 20 minutes to each downtown), very safe, and clean and quiet. The Mounds View school district is known for being high quality and the schools are excellent. Mounds View is very family friendly and such a great place to live! It would be nice to see more health food markets (co-ops or Whole Foods) in the area, as well as a nice splash pad!
Although a pleasant community, the City of Mounds View imposes arbitrary regulations that are frustrating and a burden for businesses. If you are a small business owner, my recommendation would be to stay away from Mounds View and choose a city that values and is friendly toward small businesses.
