Mound is a quaint and quiet town west of the cities. It has ample opportunities to be in nature surrounding the perimeter including several lakes. There are many community activities happening throughout the year to help keep you connected with your neighbors.
The only thing that I would change is the overall look of the city. It has tried over the years to become a "go to" town to only disappoint the residents. When creating new construction, it needs to have a marine/lakeside feel, especially if it will be central in the downtown area.

Mound is a small city, west of Minneapolis, mostly built along the shores of Lake Minnetonka and has a lot going on, for such a small town. There are bike trails, walking trails, local restaurants, parks, beaches, shops, a creamery, fishing, boating, paddle-boarding, and kayaking. The people who live here are friendly, and it is a very dog friendly town. There are multiple churches, a library, and great schools.
I love Mound. I've lived here mostly my whole life. It is very relaxing and is much different from the city life. I would like to see more activities/things to do around here. For example, more stores/restaurants, a community center!
