While it continues to grow, opportunities remain limited for many different fields and people. The school provides a good choice of programs at the tech school but the academics, primarily the humanities, fall short. There are multiple quality STEM teachers. The arts, foreign languages, and anything remotely non-traditional like unpopular sports, are almost always neglected. The food choices has grown over the years but that is the only thing that seems to grow. Not many places to shop, even fewer places to shop that aren't too expensive for what you're buying. It has a small town feel and you can enjoy a retro feel around several parts of town. Public and government resources are practically non-existent. Not too dangerous compared to other places in Alabama.

Moulton is a small town, blink and you will miss it...but it has the small town charm that you can't get in a bigger city. Everyone knows everyone and everyone pitches in to help when needed. Downside to small town is there isn't much to do besides parks and sports....but, outdoors-men(women) have the Bankhead National Forest right in our backyard. We are also centrally located to visit big cities around us such as: Huntsville, Decatur, Florence...for malls, movies and other sources of entertainment. Great place to raise a family!!
I like how Moulton has good school systems and we are very diverse and friendly with each other. What I would like to see change in Moulton, is for there to be more interesting things to do for teenagers to have clean fun.
