Morrisville is a small town but it is starting to become busier. From my home, I am less than half a mile from a Wal-Mart, McDonalds, and other restaurants/shopping places! There is also a plaza nearby as well. This is a wonderful place to hangout. And there is no need to worry about danger, there is a fire department and police station nearby! One thing that I do find annoying is that we often hear police sirens go by, but at least they are close!
I love the friendly atmosphere, diversity, and places to shop! There are also religious temples for my religion: Hinduism, as well as many Indian restaurants. I feel very comfortable here!
Used to be the best place in the Triangle to live as it was centrally located and you could get to any of the major cultural centers in 15-20 minutes. Now, traffic is as bad as Atlanta during rush hour on the main streets through town and the 15-20 minute drive easily turns into a 40-45 minute drive. They continue to encourage high density population growth without the resources to improve road infrastructure (even as many residents are asking for slower growth till road construction catches up a little). I'd recommend other places in the area over Morrisville that don't have the same traffic issues but still have most of the other benefits now.
