Having come from a very populated area near Seattle, what I can appreciate about Morris is that any trip around to get food or groceries, anything of the sort is quick because of how condensed the city is. Aesthetically, the town is very charming as well, several streets are framed by beautiful large trees, and around the holidays, including Halloween, people are especially festive about decorating. It often times gives the feel of being in a movie. Aside from that there are a few things I don't love about living in Morris- which is how the town is closed on Sundays (out of the ordinary for me) and that there is only one primary grocery store and they seem to take advantage of that by having steep prices for very average items.
Morris is a small town and is sort of in the middle of no where. However, it is the perfect place to escape a busy city life. The town has everything you could need, including a University with a work out center open to the public. It also has a grocery store that has a very welcoming atmosphere and many small restaurants and diners to eat at.
Morris is a small town in West Central Minnesota. No major highways or interstate goes through Morris keeping safety higher in my opinion. The public school is underfunded and finally being updated, but staff pushes kids to achieve greatness. Agriculture, Westmor/Superior and the University of Minnesota Morris all drive the local economy. The university keeps fresh faces in the community and Westmor/Superior and agriculture are always there to provide jobs.
