I love my town! It is a wonderful place for families and students. Taxes are high due to the quality of schools and properties. I wish there were more small local businesses rather than chains, and Morris Plains often falls flat when it comes to nightlife. However, neighboring towns such as Morristown make up for it. There are not many stores that promote healthy lifestyles, save for supermarkets. I believe the town is very diverse and welcoming to people of all races and sexual orientations, especially in schools. I adore the mix of cultures that are found in Morris Plains and Parsippany.

I absolutely love the diversity we have in Morris Plains. Not only are the people diverse, but even the architecture of the buildings surrounding us are unique. There also is a wide variety of activities such as outdoor concerts, dining, biking/running trails, fishing, boating, and historical areas. So long as you do a little research, it is very easy to plan a lovely day with a cherished one without breaking the bank. In addition, the local businesses we have really add to the overall feeling of unity. It is like a large family here in Morris Plains. The people are friendly and always willing to lend a helping hand.
Great place to live for families. Good school system complimented by beautiful houses and scenery, multitude of restaurants and food joints, and an abundance of things to do, from museums to parks. The standard of living is quite high.
