Morgan Hill is a typical California suburb. Downtown features a wide variety of shopping and dinning neatly tucked into quaint, post-modern buildings. My favorite part of Morgan Hill is the surplus of recreational activities within a few minutes drive of each other; including an indoor pool and fitness center. Home to Henry W. Coe State Park, bird watching and hiking trails await anyone whose willing to brave the 30minute, winding, drive to the entrance. While the public library is small the staff is very friendly. This town is expanding everyday and bringing with it a culturally diverse community of residence. However, be prepared for congestion and long commute times should one work in San Jose.

I've lived in Morgan Hill since I was 6 years old. I am 22 years old now and can confidently say Morgan Hill has shaped me into the person I am today for all the best reasons. The town is filled with a variety of amenities, ranging from the Recreational Center, to the lively downtown area. I truly believe Morgan Hill has always been a friendly, open minded community. A community that has only strived (and succeeded) to improve itself year by year. Again, I’m truly blessed to have been able to grow up in such a wonderful town.
Morgan Hill is definitely a small town and fits every description of a small town. I loved growing up in such a small area being close to everyone. As I got older I have noticed the town has gotten more populated and over crowded. I hope that one day I'll get my small town home back! Definitely a great place to raise children with all the community functions, support, and holiday events!
