I have been living in Morgan City for nearly 17 years. There's hardly anything to do. There's one movie theater, one bowling alley, one mini golf course, and a handful of fast food restaurants. The schools are decent, however, the system is kind of messed up. It only has a few locations that are picture worthy, and some of the neighborhoods are very old and rundown. However, Morgan City is a very safe place to live and most of the people are friendly.

Morgan City is a relatively small place. It's quiet, calm, and safe; not much goes on here. Everyone knows who you are, and are very friendly. Some events that i look forward to in Morgan City is the Shrimp&Petroleum Festival and Rhythms on the River. Morgan City has excellent schools, restaurants, stores, and people.
I have lived in Morgan City all my life. It's a small little city located along the Atchafalaya river. Our childrens park has just finished and it came out really good. Our schools have scored pretty well on there State testing. I would like the city to fix more roads.
