IT IS A VERY QUIET CLEAN CITY! My hometown Riverside, California is full of rustic history. Downtown in the front of the city’s main library there is a beautiful Chinese pavilion which was dedicated in October 1987. Chinese settlers came to the city in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. I came across this Riverside’s rich history is on display during a walk-through downtown.
Just reading and writing about downtown Riverside brings me back to my childhood! Holiday memories, school friends, fun, food, my family history and the many people who have come and gone since then. Also, how far I’ve come in my life. I remember being younger and going to the Orange Blossom Festivals every Spring. They do not have those anymore; I’ve always wondered what happen to them. It made me sad, I miss those days. MORENO VALLEY IS IN RIVERSIDE COUNTY! THEY DO NOT NEED TO CHANGE A THING.

I love living in Moreno Valley (Moval). All of my close and immediate family lives out here and it's nice being so close and local. There is so much to do here and everything is about an hour drive. For example, Disneyland is about a 1 and 30-minute drive from Moreno Valley. In addition, Riverside is about a 15-minute drive and there is so much to do there as well. Moreno Valley is great, affordable, and has many opportunities!
This is a city that is growing year by year and definitely expanding with Hospitals, Apartments, and Homes. I've lived in Moreno Valley my entire life and it isn't the worst place to live but definitely not a city that is perfect. The school system isn't the very best but we have some teachers that actually care. We have a local community college and good areas to shop at or even get a drink with your friends. The community is very nice and people help each other out!
