We have a volunteer fire department and a city police officer and county and state patrolmen, other than that we really do not have any public services in our small town.

Living in a small town, everyone kind of looks out for each other. People are not afraid to report any suspicious activities if they see them.
There is a good variety of restaurants in the area from fast food to fine dining. The nightlife options are very minimal.
